Le Calendrier – The calendar

A great way to practice is to make or print a calendar chart to use at home and include it in your daily school routine. Here’s a new Quizlet set and some videos to help with pronunciation. It includes how to ask and say the date, days of the week, months of the year, and numbers 1-31.

Les Fruits – Audio worksheets

Keep practicing fruits! We are starting to pay attention to using “Le” and “La” – the masculine and feminine words for “the” – before each fruit. It’s included on the phonics worksheet. Next week we’ll talk about how all French objects have a gender!

Try these online audio worksheets. Click on the play button and listen for the fruit. Then drag the picture to the box.

Le Gnou (Wildebeest) Movie Talk

We read and acted out our first story, using screenshots from a short film. Then we watched the video afterward. It was perfect for practicing “C’est” (this is) and “Ce n’est pas” (this is NOT). I will email you a PDF of it to practice this week.
